J and J Promotions

Here’s the scoop about J and J Promotions….We are Joe and Jokey Michel (or Jokey and Joe, often used interchangeably), and we decided to form J and J Promotions in 2024, in order to bring back an awesome music festival at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, California.  After much thought and prayer, and after sadly losing our beloved Uncle Frank Solivan, Senior in 2023, who was a major icon in the CA Bluegrass community and beyond, as well as CBA Ambassador and founder of Kids on Bluegrass, we decided it was the best time to take the plunge into the world of music festival promoting. It is an honor to celebrate and memorialize our dearly loved and missed Uncle Frank, one who loved all live music and worked hard during his life to keep the future of Bluegrass music alive and well through the kids. Our first festival in 2024 was amazing! We had a great line-up on our festival stage that was well received by our festival guests. We also had the most valuable volunteer staff imaginable, and we couldn’t have put on the festival without every single one of them! We are working hard to make our second “Frankly Bluegrass Music Festival”even better than the first, with another amazing line-up of musical talent onstage.
